        Project 2 : Travel Performance Marketing

        Happy Steps Travel wanted to promote its visa services to Myanmar travelers through social media. However, the brand faced challenges such as inconsistent posting, limited audience engagement, and minimal lead generation from social platforms.

        The objective of this project was to rebuild the social media strategy, create engaging visa-related content, and generate more inquiries for visa services through Facebook and Messenger.

        Conducted a social media audit to evaluate the existing Facebook page performance, content style, and engagement levels.

        Researched competitors offering visa services in Myanmar to understand what types of content were generating the most engagement and inquiries.

        Developed a 90-day social media strategy focusing on promoting popular visa destinations such as Thailand, Japan, Korea, UAE, and Schengen countries.

        Created a structured content calendar aligned with seasonal travel demand, visa application timelines, and promotional campaigns.

        The strategy focused on three main objectives:

        • Convert social media audiences into Messenger inquiries

        Designed visually consistent and professional social media graphics using Canva, ensuring the posts aligned with the Happy Steps Travel brand identity.

        • Step-by-step visa application tips
        • Common visa rejection mistakes
        • Visa success stories and client testimonials
        • Promotional offers and limited-time visa services

        Content was written in Burmese language to better connect with the local Myanmar audience and increase engagement.

        Short-form educational posts were also created to simplify complex visa processes and build trust with potential clients.

        Published regular content based on the planned social media calendar to maintain consistency and improve audience engagement.

        High-performing posts were boosted through Facebook advertising to reach a wider audience of Myanmar travelers interested in international travel.

        Optimized captions and call-to-actions to encourage users to:

        • Send messages via Messenger
        • Ask questions about visa requirements
        • Inquire about visa service packages

        Set up Messenger auto-reply scripts to provide quick responses and guide potential customers through the visa inquiry process.

        Tracked post performance including reach, engagement, comments, shares, and Messenger inquiries.

        Analyzed which types of posts generated the most engagement and visa inquiries.

        Optimized future content by focusing more on high-performing formats such as:
